Annotation:
From the first years of existence of St-Petersburg and the Baltic
Fleet they used to place a marine settlement of officers and sailors,
a settlement of the regiment attached to the fleet and a hard
labour court by the Galernaya (Galley) Harbour. E.g. such a hard
labour court was placed by the Galernaya Island. Later (from 1738
to 1740), it was transferred to Vasilievsky (Basil) Island to
the area of Galernaya Harbour.
