Shown: The highroads (“Perspectiva from the military post to Yekaterinhof”, “Sarskaya Perspectiva”, parallel to it “Izmailovskaya Perspectiva”); the rivers Fontanka, Chiornaya (Black), Glukhaya; Ligovsky Canal, Finnish village by the confluence of Chiornaya R. into Fontanka. The structures of Izmailovsky Regiment settlement with its nearest outskirts are marked with Latin letters, decoded in the explication: soldier barracks, officer houses, regiment office, armoury, treasury, church, hospital, stable, smithies, moorage, parade-ground, accoutrements depot, powder-magazine. Suburban estates along the Fontanka; Marine settlements of Big and Small Colomnas along Sadovaya Street, Kalinkina village, a part of Life Guards Semionovsky Regiment settlement.
Annotation: The project general plan of Life Guards Izmailovsky Regiment settlement was worked out by the project approved in 1740 at the meeting of the staffs of Life Guards regiments. This decision was approved by the empress on 2 (13) of May 1740.
