the Neva.
Shown:
a portion of Nyenskans Fortress and four profiles. The scale of
the profiles is at the top of the leaf (Werkscsue). A part of
the fortress: the zone of three bastions, bastions with orilions
south, two triangle lunets connected with curtains with wooden
bridges. Around the Crownwork is a water ditch. Out of the ditch
is a line of ramparts. Profiles of defile, works, orilions, ravelins.
Annotation:
It’s a more detailed fragment of the project of Nyenskans
Crownwork that was submitted for consideration to the Swedish
King and approved by the king on 29 of May 1675.
